On Peace Day, 2008, BARKA Foundation unveiled the BARKA Burkina Consortium, a collaborative effort to co-create a new paradigm of development in Burkina Faso that is replicable and scalable.

The BARKA Burkina Consortium joins together NGOs, UN and government agencies, businesses, schools, youth groups, women’s associations, faith-based and civic organizations, philanthropists, political leaders and interested parties in a united front to create a replicable and scalable model for achieving Millennium Development Goals in Burkina Faso through the UN’s target date of 2015.
