In association with the International Day of Peace, from September 19-21, 2009, the first annual Peace, Water & Wisdom Concert & Festival was held in Ouagadougou, the capitol city of Burkina Faso. It included a 3-mile Walk for Water through the city, a concert in 14 Yaar (aka World Peace Ghetto), a film festival and a Peace Day Ceremony at the city’s UN Plaza.
